In autumn, leaves are falling.
Trees are conserving their energy to survive the winter.
Nothing is wrong with these falling leaves.
They were very important: for their season.
Spring will bring fresh green leaves.
Equally good, equally important: for their season.
Going through winter with all your leaves takes a lot of energy.
And more importantly, you will have no energy for new leaves in spring.
It’s not easy to recognize when the season for something good is over.
It is vital though.
