I started a month without video, and after a couple of days I realized how much video I consumed.
Netflix during breakfast, Netflix during dinner, often Netflix in the evening.
Youtube sprinkled throughout the day.
Some internet television on demand.
Hours and hours.
And I find it is not the content I miss,
but the filling of my time, the distraction I got used to.
Slowly I am trying to learn what to do with all this time.
Some nothing, some reading, some sports, some going to bed earlier…
This is the part of the journey where I’m still wandering around in the forest.
And shocked about how much of my time I was netflixing my life away.
To be continued…
