Why I don’t answer surveys

If you give me a survey,
it means my opinion is not important enough to actually talk to me.

If you give me a survey,
it means my answers only matter as a particle in the pile of answers.

If you give me a survey,
it means my answers will become part of a data set,
which can be used to draw all kinds of conclusions,
also conclusions I disagree with.

So, I don’t answer surveys.
(unless they are mandatory, like medical ones).

But I always offer to have a chat to people who give me a survey.
So far nobody has taken up that offer.
